The chat@polyboston.org mailing list is intended as a discussion list for members of the announce@polyboston.org list. You can't subscribe to this list unless you are already subscribed to the announce list (under exactly the same address), and if you unsubscribe from announce, you'll automatically be unsubscribed from chat shortly thereafter. announce@polyboston.org is a list for polyamorous people and their friends in the general Boston, Massachusetts, area, mainly for announcements. chat (this list) is for people on announce to conduct general discussion (possibly fluffy) that would not be appropriate on announce. IMPORTANT: It is absolutely prohibited to subscribe to this list for the purpose of collecting email addresses for unsolicited bulk email, or to use list messages for that purpose. Doing so is unauthorized access to resources on this server and theft of services. This list is not archived.
Using chat
To post a message to all the list members, send email to chat@polyboston.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to chat
Subscribe to chat by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
